MICCI Appointed as Member of the Business Chambers Anti-Corruption Caucus

The Malaysian International Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MICCI) is honoured to be appointed by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) as one of the five constituent chambers under the National Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Malaysia (NCCIM) to be part of the Business Chambers Anti-Corruption Caucus for the 2025–2028 term.

The appointment ceremony took place on 17 October 2025 at the MACC Head Office in Putrajaya and was officiated by the Chief Commissioner of MACC, Tan Sri Dato’ Sri Hj Azam bin Baki. MICCI was represented by Mr. Lee Han Ling, Executive Director, signifying the Chamber’s active commitment to the national integrity agenda.

The formation of the caucus is anchored under Sub-Strategy 3.9 of the National Anti-Corruption Strategy (NACS) 2024–2028, which aims to enhance collaboration between the public and private sectors in promoting integrity, accountability, and ethical governance within Malaysia’s economic ecosystem.

Through this caucus, business chambers will work collaboratively with MACC to foster a competitive, transparent and corruption-free business ecosystem, encourage proactive compliance, and advance industry-led advocacy in support of responsible and sustainable economic development.

MICCI looks forward to contributing meaningfully to Malaysia’s anti-corruption agenda and advancing a business ecosystem anchored on trust, ethics and integrity.
