The Malaysian International Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MICCI) Southern Branch successfully held its 21st Annual General Meeting (AGM) on 24 September 2025 at the I-Privilege Club, Johor Bahru.
We would like to extend our appreciation to our AGM sponsors, AME Elite Consortium Berhad and Standard Chartered Bank.
The meeting was chaired by MICCI Executive Director, Mr. Lee Han Ling, and commenced at 3.30 pm.
The new Executive Committee (EXCO) of the Southern Region for the 2025/2026 term was duly appointed as follows:

We extend our heartiest congratulations to the newly appointed Executive Committee members and look forward to their leadership in steering the Southern Region towards greater achievements in the coming year.
In addition to the EXCO, the Southern Region is supported by six Councils, which act as sub-committees to engage with government authorities and champion advocacy efforts for the betterment of our members. The appointed Councils for 2025/2026 are:-
1. Economic Policy, Trade & Domestic Affairs โ Mr. Mr. Yong Woon Sing @ Woon Sing (Pelangi Teliti (M) Sdn Bhd)
2. Taxation & Trade Facilitation โ Mr. Benedict Francis (Pricewaterhousecoopers Taxation Services Sdn Bhd) & Ms. Thean Szu Ping (Deloitte Tax Services Sdn. Bhd โ Johor)
3. Environmental, Social & Corporate Governance (ESG) – YBhg. Tuan Haji Md.Salikon Bin Sarprin (MSC Cyberport Sdn Bhd)
4. Human Capital & Education โ Dr. Lee Ting Hun (Procid Sdn. Bhd.) & Mr. Dennis Tey (Agensi Pekerjaan Careermaster Sdn. Bhd.)
5. Logistics & Infrastructure – Mr. Chong Ying Haan (Knight Frank Malaysia Sdn Bhd)
6. Joint Action Security (JASCO) – : Mr. Ng Yong Kang (V.S. Industry Berhad)
Congratulations were also extended to the newly appointed Council leaders, who will play a pivotal role in advancing advocacy and strengthening engagement with key stakeholders.
The BAGM ended with appreciation and a strong pledge to further advance membersโ interests and engagement.
