Unlocking Business Opportunities In Bhutan: MICCI Central Branch Participation

On 𝟮𝟲 𝗡𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱, MICCI Central Branch was invited by the 𝗕𝗵𝘂𝘁𝗮𝗻 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗲 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲. The session was attended by 𝗠𝗿. 𝗟𝗶𝗺 𝗖𝗵𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗟𝗶𝗻𝗴, Deputy Chairman of MICCI Central Branch, followed by Mr. Kim Tan, Executive Committee Member of MICCI Central Branch, and 𝗠𝘀. 𝗟𝗲𝗲 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗮, MICCI member. The session was coordinated by 𝗠𝗿. 𝗪𝗮𝘆𝗻𝗲 𝗦𝗵𝘂 𝗚𝘂𝗼 𝗤𝘂𝗶, Manager of MICCI Central Branch.

The engagement aimed to explore how Bhutan is opening new frontiers for Malaysian exporters, investors, and business partners. Through this session, members were able to leverage valuable insights to identify potential business opportunities in one of the world’s most sustainable countries, renowned for its high happiness index.

The event was hosted by 𝗠𝗮𝗱𝗮𝗺 𝗣𝗲𝗻 𝗭𝗮𝗺, Chief Trade Officer of the Royal Government of Bhutan, who highlighted Bhutan’s expanding opportunities in tourism, agriculture, clean energy, and trade.
