BUSINESSES URGED TO WORK TOGETHER FOR THE GOOD OF SABAH
“We urge all Sabah citizen from all political divide, all ethnic groups, all chambers and trade associations to sink all differences to work together for the good of Sabah and its generations to come. We owe our next generation a decent future!” He emphasised.
“I hope all business communities in Sabah to work with MICCI and the government to achieve the Sabahan dream of 1 Malaysia, 1Nation but 3 equal territories.”
During the luncheon the Branch Chairman, Datuk Seri Panglima Wong Khen Thau had highlighted issues concerning economic development of the State and feasible proposals for a better Sabah. He also announced MICCI Sabah’s pledge to work closely with the Sabah state government to realise the goals of the state government, such as creating a conducive business environment focused on infrastructure and basic amenities to fuel a private sector driven economy, a creation of new resource-based industries to draw new investments into Sabah, to give priority to HumanCapital development and to work on a United Sabah, irregardless of race or religion.

The MICCI Sabah Branch Annual Luncheon was successfully held on 22 November, 2018 at the GrandBallroom of Pacific Sutera, Sutera Harbour Resort with more than 410 members and guests with the presence of the Chief Minister of Sabah, the Right Honourable Datuk Seri Panglima Haji Mohd Shafie bin Haji Apdal as the Guest of Honour.
