The Malaysian International Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MICCI) Southern Region attended the ‘Bridging The Cross Border Gap – With Specialist Trade Alliance Singapore (STAS)’ event on 24th May 2023, Wednesday at St. Giles Hotel, Mid Valley, Southkey. This event was organised by The Johor Master Builders Association.

Mr. Lee Ting Kiat, Chairman of MICCI Southern Region, attended the event to show support. Additionally, our branch EXCO member, Mr. Andrew Woon, and Branch Manager, Ms. Olivia Chin, were also present at the event.

The event also received support from other associations, including the Melaka Builders Association, Segamat Builders Association, South Johor Foundry & Engineering Industries Association, and Johor Interior Designer Association.

This event aims to connect both Malaysian and Singaporean construction industry players who are keen to make a difference in their respective fields. The event featured speeches from the Iskandar Regional Development Authority, OCBC Malaysia, and Grant Thornton Malaysia, providing insights and perspectives on the growing Johor Economy.

The event attracted over 80 industry players who participated.
