On 27th November 2023, the Malaysian International Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MICCI) had the honour of hosting a distinguished delegation from the Development & Reform Commission of Shenzhen Municipality. The delegation was led by Mr. Qin Shijie, the counsel of the commission, and Ms. Zhou Hongmei, the counsel of the Planning and Budget Committee of Shenzhen, both esteemed guests representing the Shenzhen delegation.

On the MICCI side, the representation was robust, featuring Ms. Harpreet Kaur, the General Manager of MICCI, along with Mr. Kim Tan and Mr. Loh Choy Lueh, both General Committee members and members of MICCI.

This was followed by a comprehensive study tour organised by Northport (Malaysia) Bhd. The event provided a platform for meaningful discussions, networking, and an exchange of insights between the Shenzhen delegation and MICCI representatives, fostering collaboration and understanding in commerce and industry.
