On 7th July 2023, the Deputy Head of Mission (Counsellor), Embassy of the Republic of Zimbabwe, Mr. Isheanopa Fanuel Rufu, paid a courtesy visit to the Malaysian International Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MICCI). Attendance by Ms. Christina Tee, our National President and Mr. Shaun Edward Cheah, our Executive Director. Followed by Mr. Callum Chen, President of MCMTC & General Committee of MICCI, and Mr. Kelvin Kee Chee Keong, Vice–Chairman of MICCI Central Branch.

We extend our gratitude to Zimbabwe’s delegation for gracing us with their presence and engaging in meaningful discussions. The courtesy visit has laid a solid foundation for closer ties and increased collaboration between Zimbabwe and MICCI.

It signified the beginning of the fruitful collaboration between MICCI and the Embassy of the Republic of Zimbabwe, venturing into trade opportunities and committing to exploring the African continent’s business potential. MICCI looks forward to further engagement with the Embassy of Zimbabwe in the near future.
