MICCI Courtesy Visit To Head Of CID Office

In a recent momentous face-to-face meeting with the Royal Malaysian Police, led by the esteemed Director of the Crime Investigation Department, MICCI’s JASCO council members witnessed the fruition of our collaborative efforts, yielding exceptionally positive results.
Our primary aim was to extend our heartfelt gratitude to the RMP CID, specifically D9, for their remarkable two-decade commitment to hands-on cargo incidents intelligence sharing and operations. Their unparalleled track record stands as a testament to the significant reduction and mitigation of cargo truck hijackings.
This notable achievement underscores the critical importance of fostering deeper collaboration between our esteemed organization (MICCI/JASCO) and the dedicated law enforcement professionals at the RMP/D9. We are steadfast in our commitment to continued discussions, focusing on the latest cargo crimes modus operandi and the development of robust countermeasure strategies to comprehensively address cargo crime. Furthermore, we aspire to re-establish collaboration with the Ops Cargo 24/7 control tower support, specifically targeting Malaysian vulnerable or High Value Theft Targeted (HVTT) cargo movements.
Driven by the principles of cooperation and the adoption of industry-leading supply chain security standards, technology, and accreditations, our joint endeavors aim to fortify supply chain security, enhance resilience, and contribute to sustainable initiatives in combating cargo crime. These collective measures, we believe, will significantly augment the overall safety and security of conducting business in Malaysia, heralding a new era of strategic collaboration and shared success.
