On 11th October 2023, two representatives from the MICCI Central Documentation & Processing Department successfully conducted a workshop on Carnet Facilities in Malaysia with the Royal Malaysian Customs Department (RMCD).

The three-and-a-half-hour workshop was a joint effort between MICCI Central and RMCD Putrajaya to expose and educate border Customs officers on the available Carnet facilities in Malaysia and streamline current processes for these facilities.

The workshop was attended by approximately 20 RMCD officers in person and around 500-600 officers virtually.

Further engagements are to be planned in the future.
