MICCI sees that the Budget recognises the importance of economic activity for post-pandemic recovery and economic resilience. Other than an election budget, there’s attention to create a vibrant business environment, creating jobs, human talent and pump priming via public infra expenditure.

In the previous Money Matters episode, MICCI asserted that meritocracy and governance is the key in the execution of the budget policies. The Fiscal Responsibility Act and the Multi-Agency Task Force are both mentioned in the Budget 2023 in relation to governance.
