On 13 July 2026, the Petroleum Production Sharing Contractors (PPSC) Committee successfully held its Annual Engagement Session with PETRONAS Malaysia Petroleum Management (MPM) at the Grand Hyatt Kuala Lumpur.

The annual engagement serves as an important platform for constructive dialogue between industry leaders and PETRONAS MPM, bringing together PPSC Committee Members and key stakeholders to strengthen industry-regulator collaboration and exchange perspectives on matters relating to Malaysia’s upstream petroleum sector. The engagement reflects the shared commitment of both parties to fostering open dialogue, building stronger partnerships, and supporting the continued development of a resilient, competitive and sustainable upstream industry.

Established under MICCI in 1988, the Petroleum Production Sharing Contractors (PPSC) Committee is a dedicated industry committee representing Production Sharing Contractors (PSCs) operating in Malaysia. The committee serves as a platform for collaboration among member companies and facilitates constructive engagement with government agencies, regulators and key stakeholders on matters affecting the upstream oil and gas industry.
