Federation of Malaysian Manufacturers (FMM) Penang together with MICCI Northern Region had the honour of hosting the Deputy Minister of Finance, YB Steven Sim to a Roundtable Dialogue session with the Northern Region members from these 2 Associations on 25th June 2023. Although it was a Sunday afternoon, members made an effort to attend the Dialogue Session held at Rackson House, Penang.

In his address, YB Steven Sim informed that the first 3 months of his appointment was spent finalising Budget 2023, with economic recovery of the Nation foremost on the list. The following 3 months was to get to know the sectors and industries on their needs and issues. He informed that Penang was a key driver for Malaysia’s economy.
