The Philippine Trade and Investment Center in Kuala Lumpur, in cooperation with the Malaysian International Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MICCI) organised high-level business events during the State Visit to Malaysia of His Excellency Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr. President of the Republic of the Philippines on 26th and 27th July 2023.

1. On 26th July 2023, a networking event between the Malaysian International Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Philippine Business Delegates was organised to bring together business communities from both countries to foster connections, explore potential partnerships, and strengthen economic ties between Malaysia and the Philippines. This was followed by a briefing on Malaysia’s Halal Industry by the Halal Development Corporation, which shared with the Philippine delegates valuable insights on the Halal ecosystem in Malaysia.

2. On 27th July 2023, CEOs, CFOs, and heads of Malaysian business groups from the following various sectors attended the Round Table meeting with His Excellency Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr. President of the Republic of the Philippines.
