IPC Global India represented by Executive Director, Mr. Gaurab Mujumdar and Deputy Manager Events and Communication, Ms Manvi Kapoor paid a courtesy visit to MICCI Northern Region on 1st November 2023. MICCI Northern’s Treasurer, Mr. Lim Huck Khiam of PWC Penang and representatives of committee members, Encik Mohd Nizam Ismail (), Encik Nazri Jawahir both from Penang Port Sdn Bhd and Mr. K. Nachiappan of Paramit Malaysia Sdn Bhd played host to our guests.

IPC Global is an Association connecting electronics industries. It is a not for profit trade association that was established in 1957 in the USA and represent all facets of the electronics industry with members from 70+ countries, including Malaysia.

IPC Global developed an annual electronics industry forum in the South Asia region known as the “Integrated Electronics Manufacturing & Interconnections” (IEMI). The 3rd edition of IEMI event will be held in Penang, Malaysia in 24th to 25th July 2024 with focus on “Advanced Packaging of Semiconductor” and Bangalore, India from 29th to 30th July 2024, which will be focussed on Defence & Aerospace. Penang event is organised in conjunction with Electronics Manufacturing Expo Asia – the largest electronics show in Malaysia attracting 8,000+ visitors.

The purpose of their visit was to invite MICCI Northern Region to partner with IPC IEMI events. They hope that MICCI members in electronics value chain will participate at B2B meetings with international delegates at Setia Convention Centre, Penang on 24th July and IEMI program at Hotel Olive Tree, Penang on 25th July. There is no cost of participation.
