Inauguration of Costa Serena : Malaysia's First and International Cruise Homeport

PKCT, a proud member of MICCI, marked Malaysia’s first international cruise homeport.
The Ministry of Transport (MoT) is poised to collaborate with the Ministry of Tourism, Arts, and Culture (Motac) to position Malaysia as a premier homeport for cruise liners. Transport Minister Anthony Loke Siew Fook recognizes the tremendous potential of homeports in elevating the nation’s tourism sector.
Costa Serena embarked on its maiden voyage, offering an enticing three-day, two-night itinerary from Port Klang to Penang. Passengers are invited to immerse themselves in Malaysia’s diverse oceanic landscape, partake in enriching shore excursions, and indulge in international-style experiences highlighted by Italian hospitality with delightful local touches.
