On 20th October 2023, our member the Philippine Trade and Investment Center (PTIC) organised a Philippines Investment Forum in collaboration with MICCI. The session commenced with an opening remark by Ms. NorJamin Delos Reyes, Commercial Counsellor. Representing MICCI were Mr. Shaun Edward Cheah, Executive Director, Ms. Harpreet Kaur, General Manager, along with other members of MICCI. This was followed by members of the Malaysian Consortium of Mid-Tier Companies (MCMTC).

The forum acted as a pivotal avenue for Malaysian enterprises to explore potential investments in the Philippines. This was enhanced by informative sessions delivered by delegates from five notable economic free zones.

In the concluding segment of the forum, Mr. Sangar Kandasamy, the Co-chairman of the Joint Action Security Council (JASCO) had the honour of delivering the closing remarks. His speech reflected the collective aspirations of the forum’s participants. Shared hope for strengthened collaboration between MICCI and PTIC in the near future.
