The Malaysian International Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MICCI) successfully held its 53rd Annual General Meeting (AGM) & Annual Luncheon 2026 on 18 June 2026 at the Imperial Lexis Kuala Lumpur, bringing together our members, industry leaders and policymakers to discuss the opportunities and challenges shaping Malaysiaโs economic future.
A key highlight of the AGM was the election of MICCIโs General Committee (GENCO) for the 2026/2027 term, comprising distinguished business leaders who will continue to guide the Chamberโs strategic direction and advocacy efforts in the year ahead.
The Annual Luncheon was graced by YB Tuan Sim Tze Tzin, Deputy Minister of Investment, Trade and Industry (MITI), who shared insights on Malaysiaโs trade and investment priorities, economic outlook and the importance of public-private sector collaboration.
The programme also featured an engaging dialogue session with YB Tuan Sim Tze Tzin, Ms.Zalina Zainol, Deputy Chief Executive Officer of MIDA, Ms. Noor Hayati Abu Noh, Director of the Strategic Planning Division of MATRADE, and Mr. Callum Chen, Vice President of MICCI. The session provided valuable perspectives on investment trends, export opportunities and initiatives to support businesses navigating an increasingly dynamic global environment. MICCI extends its sincere appreciation to all speakers, members and guests who contributed to the success of the event.
